Cypress Street, Newton MA
This 2017 restoration of a Queen Anne Victorian walkable to Newton Center is Nicholwood’s first project preserving and updating. We fell in love with the gracious front hall and the two-toned floor in the dining room. Keeping those old-world elements, and yet freshening it up for modern family living was the challenge. The result: a 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath single family home with a new lease on life. Welcome!

The language of arches blends original features to updated spaces. An opened-up designer kitchen speaks to interior and exterior living spaces, including that gorgeous two-toned floor. We kept the layout where it flowed and added modern features like the mud room that attaches the newly built garage.
